The Hold The Line Program
Military and veterans. Gold Star families. Law enforcement and firefighters. Nurses, doctors, and EMS. Teachers. If you or your family has shown up for Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, and the small towns and rural communities around them, we want to show up for you when you buy or sell your next home.
Why We Started This
Kendall and Jordan started giving part of our commission back to the people who serve this community all the way back in 2016 — years before CORE Real Estate Advisors existed. We called it Heroes Home Advantage back then; today it’s Hold The Line. The name’s changed, but the idea never did — it wasn’t a marketing idea, just what made sense to two guys who wore a badge ourselves and watched our friends in uniform buy and sell homes on a public servant’s paycheck.
Since 2010, Jordan has been with the Bismarck Police Department — a patrol supervisor since 2015, leading the officers who answer calls in this city every single day. Kendall spent years on that same department, including time commanding the Bomb Squad, and he still serves today as a Sergeant Major in the North Dakota Army National Guard. We’ve lived the schedule, the sacrifice, and the toll this work takes on a family. So when Crystal joined us to build CORE, she agreed — taking care of our fellow heroes wasn’t optional. It went straight into the foundation.
Hold The Line has since grown into our own non-profit, and CORE is proud to be the exclusive brokerage offering it across Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, and every small town and rural community throughout Burleigh, Morton, and the surrounding counties. Every closing is a chance to hand real money back to someone who has spent their career giving to everyone else first. Since 2016, that's added up to $525,000+ handed directly to the veterans, officers, nurses, and teachers of Bismarck-Mandan — with qualifying clients averaging over $2,500 back on a single transaction.
Who Qualifies
Hold The Line is open to anyone currently working, or who has ever worked, in these fields — active duty or retired, full-time or volunteer. Not sure if you qualify? Reach out and ask. If you’re not sure, we’ll find a way to say yes.
Active duty, reserve, National Guard, and veterans of every branch — past or present.
Immediate family of a service member who died in the line of duty. Their sacrifice is one we never forget.
Sworn law enforcement at every level — past or present.
Career and volunteer firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians.
Nurses, doctors, and other frontline healthcare workers caring for our community.
Pre-K through 12th grade educators, public or private, in Bismarck-Mandan schools.
If your work is about serving others and you’re not seeing it listed here, ask us anyway.
How It Works
Tell us your name, your role, and whether you’re buying, selling, or both. That’s it — there’s no application to fill out.
You get the same full-service experience every CORE client gets — pricing strategy, marketing, negotiation, and constant communication, start to finish.
Put it toward closing costs, a rate buy-down, moving expenses, or straight into savings. It’s your money — you decide.
“We built Hold The Line because the people who protect, heal, and teach this community shouldn’t have to spend a career giving before they ever get something back. This is our way of saying thank you — and meaning it.”Jordan West, Broker Associate | Owner | Realtor®, CORE Real Estate Advisors — Bismarck Police Department Since 2010, Patrol Supervisor Since 2015
